All of publisher John L. Vankat’s selection have been rated from 88 to 100 (or equivalent) by Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator and the New York Wine Cellar, during that last 12 months, retail for $15 or less, have been made in a lot of at least 1,000 cases and are drinkable now (no cellaring required).
Wines are alphabetized by varietal (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, etc.) for U.S. wines or by country of origin for imported wines. Information on the winery, vintage year, identifying description, estimated price and composite evaluation is proved for each wine.
